The Gallery Applet is a small Java applet for viewing GIF and JPEG images. It has a navigation bar, zoom functionality and animated transitions. The applet can also open a new window to show the images outside of the browser, in a separate viewer window.

 

The applet integrates easily in an existing web site. Only little configuration is needed. The only prerequisite is that the browser is Java enabled. Check out the demo site: here.

 

The Photomaniac Gallery Applet is open source, and absolutely free. The source code and the binaries are distributed under the terms of the GNU Public License Agreement.
